Erin was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio where she lives with her husband and three children.
She describes herself growing up as a free-spirited child with a great sense of adventure.
She fell in love with the physical practice of yoga, but it was the overall sense of calm she felt after that took her by surprise.
She began to seek yoga practice as a way to bring much needed healing into her own life.
A few years later in 2004, Erin became a certified Yoga teacher under the Yoga Alliance and continued to attend various workshops and more teacher trainings on various topics of health, meditation and yoga.
Currently Erin is certified at the advanced 500hr level in Therapeutic Yoga, is a certified Reikki master and is also a practitioner of Kriya Yoga.
Erin feels she can relate very well to others and for this reason has taught various styles of yoga including, Kids’s Yoga, Mommy and Me, Prenatal and more.
She currently teaches Basics Vinyasa, Slow Flow and Prenatal Yoga at Chagrin Yoga and also sees clients privately.
She has had the privilege of leading a 300hr. teacher training at Chagrin Yoga, where she also teaches a variety of workshops throughout the year.
Whatever style of yoga Erin teaches to her students, her intention is to focus on the healing aspects of yoga.
Erin respects each student as they all come to yoga from different backgrounds and are all dealing with different issues that is unique to them and their own experiences.
Her intention is to guide each student to respect themselves and their own bodies, while providing a safe space for them to practice.
It is also Erin’s intention to provide her students with different techniques and methods to help them achieve higher understanding of themselves so they may feel empowered.
